Slow the signs of ageing
Research shows that slowing the signs of ageing can be cheaper than you think.
It’s a fact of nature: as we age, our body fat levels increase, while our muscle mass decreases. But research in the US has found you can slow these effects without special creams or expensive pills – all you need is regular physical activity. The study, published in the Journal of Applied Physiology, found that the number of fat cells that enter muscles can be reduced and age-related strength-loss prevented, just by increasing exercise levels. Another great reason to get moving!
